David Christopher Stevens

David Christopher Stevens, 23, of Aurora, Colorado passed away July 7, 2015. David was born June 28, 1992 in Denver, Colorado. David loved to play and watch sports, basketball was his favorite! You always knew you could ask him any question about any sport and he would know the answer. Of course, everyone knew that he loved Xbox live. David worked in the health industry for Kaiser Permanente. David's most cherished accomplishment was his son David (DJ) Christopher Stevens, Jr. He was the love of his life. David was a kind loving son, brother and uncle to his family. He always knew how to make us laugh with his little sayings or imitations of his favorite movies. David is loved and cherished and will be missed by his family, son, David (DJ) Christopher Stevens, Jr,; parents, Andrea M. Lopez (Marvin) and David Stevens; grandmothers, Rosalee Salazar and Doris Stevens; siblings, Julian Stevens, Kali Stevens, Justin Stevens (Qwativia), Daniel James (Starla), Jeremy James, Bruce Stevens; his beautiful nephews and niece, Marquise, Quentin, Jeremy Jr., Javonee, Jerell, Jeremiah, Amari, Daniel III, Jervaiah and Jakari; great-niece, Maliyah; great-nephew, Marquise; step-mothers by proxy, Teri and Sylvie; also many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by uncles, Christopher Lopez, Jerry Stevens, Keith Stevens and grandfathers, Frank Lopez and David Stevens. A viewing will be held on Thursday, July 16, 2015, from 4:00-8:00pm, at the Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 11150 E. Dartmouth Ave., Aurora, CO 80014. A memorial service/reception will be held at El Gordo Restaurant and Event Center, 1042 South Peoria Street, Aurora, CO 80012 on Saturday, July 18, 2015, at 2:00pm.
