David Runyon

David C. Runyon, age 77, died peacefully in his home in Centennial, CO on October 15, 2021. Born on February 29, 1944 in Kansas City, Missouri, he was a graduate of Topeka High School.  He went on to graduate from Washburn University in Topeka, Kansas where he met and married his loving wife Anne of 55 years.

David was an officer in the United States Air Force, flying as a KC-135 Tanker pilot in Vietnam.  After the family moved to Denver, he began a successful career as an Insurance Broker retiring with Guardian Life Insurance Company.  He enjoyed his retirement spending time with family and friends, traveling and reading.

He was survived by his loving wife Anne, son Andy, daughter Mary Anne, grandsons Alex and Austin, two sisters and their husbands, several nieces, nephews, cousins and many colleagues and friends.

At this time, the family is asking for privacy as they grieve and heal together. Those wishing to honor his memory, can make a donation to the charity of their choice.
