David L. Oliphant

David came to Colorado after his service in the U.S. Navy. He enjoyed fishing, skiing, and camping. He also had a great time playing pool and tennis. He met his future wife at Arapahoe Community College. David's work as an electronics technician was cut short by multiple schlerosis. Even though his last years were spent in a nursing home, David loved life. He continued playing chess with friends after he could no longer move the pieces. He refused to let his difficulties drag down his spirit. David made everyone smile and everyone liked him in return. He will be greatly missed by his wife, family, friends and caretakers.
