David Nathaniel Land

On the morning of Wednesday, September 27^th David Nathaniel Land unexpectedly passed away peacefully in his sleep of natural causes at his home in Lakewood, Colorado.

He is survived by his mother and father, Kevin & Sandy Land, his brother Josh (Chrissy) and his nephew Brody & niece Izzy, who knew him as “tickle monster”.  He is also survived by his grandmother Gail Land and numerous Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and friends that he considered family.

Dave was a proud graduate of Bear Creek High School, Class of 2006.  He received his Bachelor of Science at the University of Nebraska at Kearney with a major in Sports Administration.  He then earned a Masters of Organizational Leadership at Colorado Christian University.  Dave prioritized his love of his Lord Jesus Christ, family and friends.  Dave was a lifetime sports enthusiast and he carried that love into working for the Denver Nuggets, Colorado Avalanche, Colorado Rockies as well as Gold Crown Foundation and Colorado Christian University.

We will be celebrating Dave’s impactful life on Saturday, October 7^th at Authentic Life Church, 6500 W Coal Mine Ave, Littleton, CO 80123 at 2:00 PM with a reception following the service.  To honor Dave everyone is welcome to wear shorts if they would like to the celebration.
