David Earl Jonas

David Earl Jonas, of Lafayette, Colorado, passed away at his home on Tuesday, September 14, 2026. He was 78 years old. David was born in Aurora, Colorado on March 31, 1948 to the late Robert F. and Dorothy J. (Dobbs) Jonas

David is survived by his sister, Patricia Beer; brothers, Robert (Maria Luiza) Jonas, Gary Jonas, Larry (Jannelle) Jonas and Criss Jonas; nieces, Brandi Beer, Alexandra Haller and Casandra May.

In addition to his parents, David was preceded in death by his brother, Danny.

A graveside service will be held 1pm, Tuesday, September 22, 2026, at Fort Logan National Cemetery. The United States Navy will perform military honors.
