David Louis DeLuzio age 84 of Thornton, Colorado passed away peacefully on February 15, 2026. David was educated through Adams County Public Schools where he attended and graduated from Westminster High School.

David served a lifetime in public service. He dedicated 22 years to the Adams County Sheriff’s office where he retired as a Lieutenant. During his free time, David enjoyed boating and skiing at Lake McConaughy with family and friends as well as riding with his motorcycle group.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Karen DeLuzio of 42 years. Those left to cherish his memory include his brother, Dan; sons Brian (Nicole), Patrick (Carolyn), and David; grandsons, Vincent, Michael, Justin and Christopher.
