Darren Overton

Darren Overton, age 38, passed away on April 13, 2021. Darren was born on November 16, 1982. He grew up in Arvada where he graduated from Arvada West High school, attended University of Northern Colorado and was in the process of obtaining a Masters in Data Science from Maryville University. He worked in technical recruiting and thrived on helping others.

Darren loved the Denver Broncos, Colorado Rockies, tennis and golf. More than anything, Darren loved his kids, family, and friends. He loved traveling anywhere there was a beach, as well as Telluride, which was also a family favorite.

There are no words to describe how much he will be missed.

Darren is survived by his children: Declan and Airlie Overton; wife, Kelly Overton; mother, Cheri Overton; brother, Dan (Lynni) Overton; nieces: Jordyn, Jenalyn and Janessa Overton; grandparents, Joyce and Sam Petroff: parents-in-law, Phil and Ellen Plossl; brothers in law: David and Kenneth Plossl and his dogs: Chance, Bitsy, Sadie and Summer.

A Vigil Service will be held Friday, April 23, 2021 at 1:00pm, Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 5303 E. County Line Road, Centennial, Colorado 80122.
