Darlene Charlotte Renevier

Darlene Charlotte Renevier (Harris), age 94, passed away peacefully on August 12, 2025, in Denver, Colorado.

Born on April 30, 1931, in Chicago, Illinois, Darlene was the daughter of Leroy Harris and Erna Harris (Neubauer). She grew up in Chicagoland and graduated from Thornton Township High School in Harvey, Illinois 1949. Her early years laid the foundation for a life marked by devotion to family and faith. She met the love of her life, Larry while attending a White Sox game with her father Leroy at Comiskey Park and left no doubt her children would all start out as White Sox fans. In 1978 Darlene and Larry moved to Colorado which immediately became home, They loved the view of the Rockies, it captured their hearts and imagination, Colorado was home.

Darlene shared 62 years of marriage with her beloved husband, Lawrence Charles Renevier, who preceded her in death. Together they raised six children: Charles David Renevier, Pamela Charlotte Renevier, April Susan Wollack, David Lawrence Renevier, Richard Allan Renevier and Keith Andrew Renevier. Darlene took great pride and cherished her role as a mother, grandmother to 13 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.

Her spiritual home was St. Peter Lutheran Church, which played a significant role in her life. The church community became an extended family to Darlene and provided a source of strength and fellowship over the decades.

In addition to her husband Lawrence and daughter Pamela Charlotte Renevier, Darlene was also preceded in death by her parents, Leroy and Erna Harris (Neubauer).

Darlene’s long life was one of quiet strength and enduring love. May her memory bring comfort to those who knew her. A Memorial Service will be held on August 26, 2025, at 03:00 PM at St. Peter Lutheran Church 9300 E Bellview Ave, Greenwood Village, CO 80111.
