It is with deep love and sorrow that we announce the passing of Darlene Joann Kloberdance, age 88, of Arvada, Colorado, on May 4, 2025.
She is survived by her devoted husband, Courtland John Kloberdance, and her beloved children: Terri (Mike) Fabrizio, Jean (Scott) Lange, Courtland (Debbie) Kloberdance, Dawn Feland, and Amber Surratt-Eller.
Darlene was a proud grandmother to Jill (Jim) Cruickshank, Jennifer (Jason) Giles, Zach (Kumiko) Lange, Scott (Jen) Kloberdance, Angela (Zach) Mehle, Mickey (Jen) Feland, Kristen (Chad) Ryan, and Amy (Brandon) McMurtrey. Her joy multiplied in her cherished great-grandchildren: Rebecca (Joe) Hyder, Kailee Kloberdance, Gavin Giles, Dane Giles, Caleb Mehle, Addison Mehle, Morgan Mehle, Grayson Feland, Harrison Feland, Jack Ryan, Ben Ryan, Brynlea Ryan, Seth Ryan, and Ethan McMurtrey.
She was preceded in death by her grandchildren Christopher Fabrizio and Nicole Surratt, her parents, and her siblings.
Darlene led a life marked by hard work, compassion, and strength. She began her career at Montgomery Ward, where she was recognized with numerous awards for her dedication and excellence. She then transitioned to furniture sales at American Furniture Warehouse, thriving with her genuine personality and work ethic. She concluded her career at the local credit union, where she worked faithfully until the age of 80. Her warmth and commitment earned her the affection of members and colleagues alike.
A woman of grace, humility, and deep love for her family, Darlene leaves behind a beautiful legacy that will continue to shine in the lives of those who knew her.
