Darlene Feil

Darlene Betty Feil (Zandstra), died in her home on August 24, 2021 surrounded by loved ones. She was born in Westfield, ND on Nov 28, 1933 and graduated from Strasburg High School and Jamestown College. Darlene married Vernon John Feil in 1954. Darlene was a teacher, realtor and an extensive volunteer (church, HOA, Boy Scouts of America, AFS and several food banks). Darlene is survived by her husband, Vernon Feil, their son, Robert Feil of Arvada, CO, their son, David Feil of Waukesha, WI, and three grandchildren, Jordan Feil, Kathryn Feil and Elliott Feil. She is also survived by several siblings, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Andrew and Anna Zandstra, her brother Glenn Zandstra, sister, Carol Andres and infant daughter, Kathrine Feil.

Funeral services will take place at a later date in Westfield, ND.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations to local food banks be made in Darlene’s honor.
