Daniel Jeffrey Scott

Daniel Jeffrey Scott, age 29, died on October 10, 2025 at 7:39pm. He was a beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend.

Daniel studied at the Colorado School of Mines and was a member of the Kappa Sigma fraternity there. He is known by many for his impressive intellect. He loved living in Golden, CO and made many meaningful friendships while living there.

In addition to friendships he made later in life, he maintained close relationships with many friends from high school and even before. Daniel prioritized his loved ones and will be remembered for his kindness and loyalty. He loved to play chess and other games, cheer for the Denver Broncos and Nuggets, and spend time in nature. He was a devoted uncle and cherished his time spent with his niece and nephews.

Daniel is survived by his mother, Kathie, and his sister, Michelle. He was preceded in death by his father, Sean.

Funeral services will take place at Horan & McConaty in Aurora on Sunday, October 19 at 10am. Friends and family are welcome to honor Dan at both the service and reception to follow.
