Daniel “Danny” Joseph Trujillo, 76, passed away peacefully on February 24th, 2024, in Thornton, CO, from a recent cancer diagnosis. Daniel was born in Denver, CO on September 29th, 1947, the 7th son, to Matthew and Sadie Trujillo. His siblings: Brothers, his twin Donny Trujillo, Gary & (Nancy) Trujillo, Paul & (Angie) Trujillo; Sisters, Cindy & (Gene) Armbruster, Joan & (Jim) Angel, and Susan Medina. He grew up in Denver, CO, attending Sacred Heart and Horace Mann schools and graduated from North High School in Denver, CO. He attended Denver Community College and Studied Welding. He joined the United States Air Force; his rank was Sergeant. He was a Featherweight Boxing Champion for the U.S. Air Force. Daniel had a fantastic sense of humor, always telling his jokes. He was the life of the party. Golf was his sport. He was a welder, a bartender which earned him the nickname “LCD-Last Call Danny.” He was a beverage distributor, security guard and chauffeur. He faced his illness with immense courage and determination. He will be greatly missed by many! We Love You!! Daniel is preceded in death by his parents, Matt and Sadie Trujillo and his brothers Donny and Paul Trujillo. He is survived by his wife Sophie Annette Trujillo, mother of his only son, Daniel Jason Trujillo (wife Toni Trujillo) of Thornton, CO; Granddaughters Persaius Trujillo, Alexius Trujillo, and Jasynthius Trujillo; Sisters, Cindy Armbruster, Joan Angel, Susan Medina; Brother, Gary & Nancy Trujillo and numerous nephews, nieces, cousins, extended family, and many friends. A Funeral Mass & Service will take place on Monday, March 11th at 9:30 am at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, 11385 Grant Dr, Northglenn, CO 80233, and Fort Logan National Cemetery at 3698 S Sheridan Blvd, Denver, CO 80236. Viewing will be from 9:30 am to 10:30 am at Immaculate Heart of Mary. Mass will begin at 10:30 am. Reception to follow immediately after Mass in the Parish Hall from 11:30 am to 12:45 pm. Procession to the Cemetery will begin at 1:00 pm from Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church to Fort Logan National Cemetery. Graveside Service will start at 2:00 pm
