Dakham, a devoted father, former monk, and teacher, passed away on Sunday, October 19, at the age of 78.
Born in Laos, Dakham lived a remarkable life marked by service and dedication. He served as a monk and a teacher before working with the United States during the Vietnam War. After relocating to the U.S., he demonstrated his entrepreneurial spirit by founding a small business that created birch tree crafts for retailers.
Dakham will be remembered for his kind, funny, and thoughtful nature. He had a lifelong passion for education, reading, writing, and learning languages.
He is survived by his daughters, Phetsala and Jinjera, and his cherished grandchildren. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
