Cuong Hong Lam

January 1, 1963 - May 22, 2026

Cuong Hong Lam, 63, was born on January 1st, 1963, in Saigon, Vietnam, and passed away peacefully on May 22nd, 2026, in Aurora, Colorado.

He was a loving husband, father, son, brother, and friend — but most importantly, the world’s biggest Dallas Cowboys fan. He rarely missed a football game. Win or lose, he proudly cheered for the team and enjoyed sharing that passion with family and friends. He will one day watch the Dallas Cowboys win the Super Bowl from heaven.

Above all, Cuong had a generous heart. He was always willing to help family members in times of need, offering support, encouragement, and whatever he could give. Cuong also worked at Prairie Vista Youth Services Center, not only serving as a chef but making a meaningful impact and building long-lasting relationships in his community. He was a loving and genuine individual whose smile and laughter positively impacted all those who surrounded him.

He will be remembered for his sense of humor, his caring spirit, and the joy he brought to family gatherings and everyday moments alike. He will be deeply missed and the memories he created will remain in the hearts of those who loved him forever.

Cuong is survived by his wife, Hoa Mai Tran, and his children, Jennifer Lam and Johnathan Lam.

A celebration of life/funeral service will be held at Horan & McConaty Funeral Service and Cremation.
