Conway Glenn Massey

September 1, 1964 — August 18, 2025

Conway Glenn Massey Ⅲ was born to Donna and Conway Massey on September 1, 1964, in Leadville, Colorado. An only child, he spent all of his young life there enjoying the beauty of the Colorado mountains. He was an avid skier and ski racer, lover of motorcycling, riding the trails on his dirt bikes, and enjoyed hunting and fishing with his dad, his uncle Chris, and cousins, Krisjan and Kasey Harnish. As an adult, he moved to Denver and attended culinary school. An extremely artistic and accomplished chef - he studied under one of the French greats in the Denver culinary world and was a member of the American Culinary Federation. He showcased his talents in several upscale Denver restaurants and hotels. He also helped open one of the La Paloma resort restaurants in Tucson, AZ, during his brief stay there.

In December 2000, he met the love of his life, Alexandra Hallock, and swept her off her feet. They were married in April 2001 and lived in Thornton for 17 years before moving to South Aurora in 2018. They enjoyed some travel and life together with so many friends and family, including Alexandra's parents, Ken and Michele, and Glenn's aunt and uncle, Mary Lou and Chris of Gunnison, CO. Unfortunately, Glenn's parents, Donna and Conway, preceded him in death; as did cousin Krisjan and uncle Chris.

Glenn, as he was always known (or Tiger by his family), is survived by his wife, Alexandra, his mother-in-law, Michele, his aunt Mary Lou Harnish of Gunnison and Los Gatos, CA, and his cousin Kasey (Carolyn) Harnish of Los Gatos, CA, his brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Tyler and Erin of AK, niece Koa and nephew Mowat of AK, and his beloved dog Arthur.

Glenn had many friends and colleagues over his life that enjoyed his easy laugh, jokes, and warm smile, including so many at Grace United Methodist - Glenn and Alexandra's church family - which Glenn became a member of in 2022. He also enjoyed being a part of the United Methodist Men's group there, helping to cook for their men's breakfasts.

Glenn is a wonderful soul who will be dearly missed, always remembered.
