Consuelo Kellogg died Monday, June 17, 2024 peacefully at home after a long illness. She was pre-deceased by her parents Luther Laflin Kellogg and Yolanda Floripe Kellogg. She is survived by family and friends.
Consuelo was a long-time resident of Denver, Colorado. She was a master gardener whose yard was a glorious display of poppies, iris, lilies and other annuals and perennials which she tended with great care. She applied her artistic skills to capturing the shapes and hues of her favorite flowers to brighten the interior of her home. She was an avid reader and naturalist with a passion for history and collecting antiquities related to her heritage.
A friend to many in her younger days, Consuelo retreated to a smaller circle of friends and family after many losses in the 80’s and 90’s. She was an astute observer of the human condition with a dry and acerbic wit. She loved a good laugh and was caring of those in her circle and those supported by her favorite charities to which she was a generous donor.
