Concepcion "Conchita" Barela

Concepcion "Conchita" Barela, age 90, passed away on March 28, 2024, in Denver. She was born on October 19, 1933, in Avila, Spain.

Conchita was predeceased by her husband, Cecil J. Barela. Her children include the late Gery (Cindy), Michael (Carrie), Dennis, the late Mark, Darrell (Carolyn), and Sonja (Darren). She was also loved by her grandchildren Brendon, Serria, Cameron, Justin, Jayson, Skye, and Caitlin.

A Celebration of Life will be held on April 19, 2024, starting at 11:00 AM at Horan & McConaty Funeral Service and Cremation in Southwest Denver/Lakewood. The address is 3101 South Wadsworth Blvd., Lakewood, CO 80227.

Conchita's life was filled with love and care for her patients during her nursing career and her family as a homemaker. She will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
