Colleen L. Bezdek

Colleen, 70, passed away peacefully in her home on August 19, 2018.

She was born and raised in Wichita, Kansas. She attended Kansas State Teachers College of Emporia earning a Bachelor of Science in Education. She was a member of the Alpha Sigma Tau sorority. She was a teacher for a short period of time, although she spent most of her career as a legal secretary.

Colleen is survived by her sister, Mary Kay Livesay, 72; son Brian Bezdek, 46 and daughter-in-law Lisa Bezdek; daughter Christina Hanson, 43 and son-in-law Michael Hanson; and 4 grandchildren Brandon, Aiden, Cole and Ava.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Cyril and Cleo Jones.

Colleen was known for her spit-fire attitude, quit wit, shopping, and love of a good movie.

Memorial Service will be held Wednesday, August 29, 2018 at 3pm, Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 11150 E. Dartmouth Avenue, followed immediately by committal in Rocky Mountain Memorial Park located next to the mortuary.
