Cody Pryor

Cody Wayne Pryor, age 33, passed away at UCHealth University in Aurora, CO on March 22nd 2023 as the result of a tragic accident at work.

Cody was born in Nashville, TN on October 24th 1989. He lived in Aurora, CO and was a diesel mechanic for McCandless Truck Center.  Cody was raised as a Christian in Lafayette Church Of Christ. He thoroughly enjoyed the outdoors. Camping and hiking with his best friend Tim Evans was among his favorite activities in Colorado.

Survivors include his five sons Brylee Wayne Pryor (Layayette, TN), Kobe James Pryor (Lafayette, TN), Gavin Levi Dowell (Martinsburg, WV), Xamion Dion Lee (Greeley, CO), Crew Archer Pryor (Aurora, CO).  He is also survived by his Mother: Elizabeth Ellen Cash (Mt.Juliet, TN), Grandfather: Herbert Wayne Pryor (Lafayette, TN), Sister: Amber Elizabeth Phifer (Hartsville, TN) as well as 6 Nieces and Nephews (Hartsville, TN).

Cody is preceded in death by his Grandmother: Marcia Lyndelle York, Great Grandmother: Mary Etta Pryor (Lafayette, TN) Great Grandfather: Herbert Hugh Pryor (Lafayette, TN), Great Grandmother Nina Browning York (Nashville, TN) and  Great, Great Grandmother Early Pryor.

Cody’s remains will be brought back to Lafayette, Tennessee by his Mother and services will be planned for a later date.
