Cleo Clark, 91, a resident of Windsor Gardens in Denver, lost her valiant fight with cancer on Wednesday, May 19, 2021. Cleo was born in Deshler, Nebraska on September 8, 1929, and eventually moved with her parents to Hastings, Nebraska.
She attended Hastings High School and was an honors graduate of the Mary Lanning Hospital School of Nursing in Hastings. Following her graduation from Nursing School in 1950 she married Jack Clark.
She is survived by her husband of 70 years, three sons, Michael (Cecilia), Gregory (Kathy) and Timothy (Iris), three grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
A Service of Remembrance will be held at 2:00pm on Thursday, May 27, 2021 at Windsor Gardens Community Center, 595 South Clinton Street, Denver, followed by a reception and light lunch.
Cleo loved animals and especially adored her dog, Mini. The adoration was mutual. She asked that in lieu of flowers donations be made to Denver Dumb Friends League.
Cleo will be greatly missed, but our love for her will go on forever.
