Claudia Suko Flohr, age 75, passed away in Hospice Care at the Life Care Center of Littleton, Colorado on August 23, 2025 after a long hard battle with cancer. She was born on May 10, 1950 in Jamestown, North Dakota where she graduated from Jamestown High School and went on to earn her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing and subsequently a Masters Degree in Nursing Education. Claudia continued to teach and work in Nursing for 43 years doing what she loved until her retirement.
She married Robert Flohr and they were blessed with 2 children, Stacy and Brian. Claudia’s passion in life was her children. They moved to Littleton, Colorado in October of 1994. She was so proud of her children’s accomplishments of both graduating with honors from High School, and of Brian finding his dream job in law enforcement. There was no prouder Mother than on the day Stacy married her soulmate, Eric Smith. Claudia always referred to Eric as “my son” and she was very proud of his many accomplishments.
Claudia is survived by her daughter, Stacy (Eric Smith). She is also survived by many wonderful friends and numerous cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents Jake and Lenora Suko, ex-husband Robert Flohr, her son Brian Flohr, her brothers Jake and Keith Suko.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on October 17, 2025 at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Castle Rock, CO. A celebration of life luncheon will be held immediately after at Lansdowne Arms restaurant in Highlands Ranch, CO.
In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for monetary donations for a memorial at the Infusion Center located at Sky Ridge Medical Center.
