Clarence V. Herrmann

Clarence was born on January 31, 1939, at Amherst, Nebraska, to Albert and Lydia (Hohlfeld) Hermann. He passed away peacefully on August 11, 2025, in Aurora, in Colorado, after a lengthy illness. He served on active duty with the Army.. During that time he met his wife Donna Smith.

They were married in June 1964 and celebrated 61 years of marriage. Clarence loved the Lord and attending church. He enjoyed working in the yard, watching football on television, spending time with his granddaughters, and playing CDs listening to all types of music. His favorite was Southern Gospel.

Clarence is survived by his wife, Donna, and the joys of his life, son Eric, daughter-in-law Nichole, and his three granddaughters: Madison, Kirstin, and Makenzie.

He is also survived by his sister Patricia Henry (James), brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, brothers Lavelle, Donald, and Leonard, and sisters Lorene Gentry and Twila Boness.

It wasn't the nails that held Jesus to the Cross, it was His love for us.
