Christina Usha Hetrick

Christina Hetrick of Brighton, MI, passed away Sept. 19. Christina was born and Denver, CO and attended Denver area schools. She was a graduate of Colorado School of mines in 1998, with a bachelors degree in electrical engineering. She was employed by Saturn in TN, Ford Motor Company in Dearborn, MI and until her death a diesel systems engineer for General Motors in Pontiac, MI. Christina is survived by her husband, Brian Hetrick, whom she married on Sept. 8, 2001 in Allenspark, CO. She is also survived by her mother Dawn Kendall of Lakewood, CO; father Richard (Norma) of Sequim, WA; sister Andrea Michels of Alexandria, VA; in-laws Clinton (Leona) Hetrick of Pittsburg, PA and many friends. Christina's interests were 4x4 and off road vehicles. She was an accomplished bead jeweler, pianist and welder. Rosary, Sunday at 4PM, Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 3101 S. Wadsworth Blvd. Mass of Christian Burial, Monday, 10:00 AM, Notre Dame Catholic Church, 2190 S. Sheridan Blvd. Interment Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
