Cheri L. Feighner, 78, loving mother of two, and cherished wife of William Feighner, passed away in the early evening hours on Friday, the 24th of May in her home after a battle with cancer. Cheri was born in 1945 in Denver, Colorado. Cheri is fondly remembered as a loving and giving woman, who was very strong and a fantastic sense of humor. Cheri was always friendly and welcoming and opened her heart and home to all. Cheri married William in 1965 and they celebrated their 59th wedding anniversary the week before her passing. Cheri loved her work as a “girl Friday” for small businesses doing all of the office work and bookkeeping. She loved that work so much that she proceeded to earn an Associate of Applied Science degree in Accounting. She was a fantastic bowler and greatly enjoy traveling, especially with The Sundowner’s Camping Club. Cheri loved her family with all her heart and was always excited to be around the family, planning gatherings for holidays and more intimate dinners frequently. She will be greatly missed and we all have a void in our lives where she used to sit.
Goodbye to a wonderful woman, cherished wife, loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. While we no longer have you, we are rejoiced in knowing that the angels have you back.
Cheri is survived by her husband William; son Robert (Marianne); daughter Saundra; grandchildren Mallori (Benjamin), Jessica (Casey), Kyle (Beth), Jared, and Chase; great grandchildren Colette, Juliette, Benjamin, Jr. Sterling, Skyler, Robert, Audrey, and Reily, brother Ted (Luann), sister Laura, and a host of beloved cousins, nieces, and nephews.
