Charlyn Frances Bratlie

Charlyn Frances Bratlie (Reynolds) passed away on May 20, 2020 in Aurora, Colorado.

Charlyn was born to Elsie Mae Dutton and Charles Simpson Reynolds of Ellendale Delaware on May 1^st, 1947. She graduated from Georgetown High School in 1965.

She married Larry Duane Bratlie in 1967 and traveled with him during his time in the service and eventually returned home to Delaware when they divorced in 1979. She had two children as the result of this marriage - James Brian Bratlie, and Carrie DiRenno. In 1980 she moved to South Florida to be closer to her sister Doris and her family. She remained in Florida where she raised her children, until moving to Colorado in 2007 where her daughter and grandchildren had relocated.

Charlyn worked in the medical billing field for most of her career and retired in 2012. She was an avid reader and enjoyed crocheting but what brought her the most joy was spending time with her family.

Charlyn was a dedicated mother and grandmother first and foremost. She treasured her children and grandchildren and embraced every moment with them. Her kind and loving spirit impacted many who adoringly referred to her as ""Mrs. C"" or ""Grandma"".

She is survived by her daughter Carrie DiRenno, her son-in-law Jason DiRenno; her brothers Jerry and Charles (Butch) Reynolds; her granddaughter Kylie Van Cleave, and her husband Ryan; her grandson Bailey Spurlock; her nieces and nephew: Shyloah Berger; Christina Travers-Jones; Jennifer Reynolds-Harrington; Jessica Womack; Shelly Armstrong Frederickson; Richard Shane Collins and their family members.

Charlyn is preceded in death by her beloved son, James Brian; her parents; Elsie and Charles; her brother Jim and her sister, Doris.

A limited sized family service will be held on Thursday May 28^th at 3:00pm due to the current restrictions, but the service can be accessed and viewed live through her obituary page here.
