Charles Henry Streib

Charles Henry Streib was born January 17^th, 1952, to William and Doris (Watt) Streib in Somerville, NJ. He attended the Wardlaw School for Boys in New Jersey, Graduating in May of 1971. Charles started his colligate career at Gettysburg College in Gettysburg, PA and completed his Bachelor’s degree at Denver University in Denver, CO. He passed away on October 18^th, 2023, at the age of 71.

Charles enjoyed fishing, softball, bowling, and photography. In the last decade he has spent his summers at the cottage on Lake Sunapee in New Hampshire with his dogs. He had a long career in Sales and as a Scuba Diving instructor. After retiring in 2015, he worked at Bass Pro Shop as a sales associate, but more importantly an Elf for Santa’s Village.

Charles never married but is survived by his niece Catherine (Norwalk, CT) and nephew Christopher (Aurora, CO). Charles is also survived by his sister-in-law, Joanne (Aurora, CO) who will take over care of Charles’ Clumber Spaniel, Wolfgang. Charles was preceded in death by his parents William (2005) and Doris (2002), and his brother John (2021).

At his request, there will be no service, but a Celebration of Life ~ Open House will take place at Charles’ home, 9657 E 113th Ave, Henderson, Colorado, on November 12^th, 2023, from 11am-3pm.

Charles’ Interment will be held at Lakeside Cemetery, Rt. 103A, Newbury, New Hampshire, on the shores of Lake Sunapee, July 6^th, 2024, at 11:00 am.
