Charles Ronald Putnam

Charles "Chuck" Putnam was born on September 3, 1938 and passed on June 9, 2024. 

Chuck was a devoted family man and made it his mission to take care of all of us, including friend and foe. While he was a mechanic by trade, he was a master multi-faceted tradesman that was not afraid to take on any challenge. 

He touched the heart of everyone except for those that any of his dogs didn't like! As long as the dogs approved, he would give the shirt off his back. 

Chuck is survived by his children Doreen (Frank) and Susan, his son-in-law Dennis, his grandchildren Chris, Ernie, Matthew, Kim, Melalina, Todd, Ben, Greg, Juli, and Bobby, as well at 16 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. 

He is preceded in death by his father, George, his mother, Caroline, his step-father Mike, his aunts Mary and Ina, his loving and devoted wife, Betty Mae, his loving daughter Linda Mae, his son-in-law Robert James "Jim", and his honorary uncle, Marion. 

Funeral services will be held at Table Mountain Baptist Church (16735 West 63rd Place, Golden CO 80403) on Tuesday, June 18 at 11 AM. A reception will follow later in the afternoon at 2 PM at Horan & McConaty (7577 West 80th Avenue, Arvada CO 80003). 

Casual clothing is requested - no need to wear your Sunday best.
