Pastor Charles K. Kinyon passed away on August 31, 2026, in Thornton, Colorado. He was born on July 26, 1939, in Greensburg, Kansas.

Pastor Kinyon devoted his life to faith, service, and the care of others. For 53 years, he served as a pastor, sharing God’s word with dedication and compassion. His ministry reflected the values that meant the most to him: faith, family, and friends, along with a deep commitment to community service and serving others. He also earned a double master’s degree, an accomplishment that spoke to his commitment to learning and to the work he felt called to do.

He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Glenda K. White Kinyon.

A memorial service will be held on September 12, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Horan & McConaty Funeral Service and Cremation - North Metro/Thornton, 9998 Grant St, Thornton, CO 80229.
