Charles ""Chuck"" Florence, 80, of Fraser, CO passed away on December 10, 2014. Chuck was born on August 17, 1934 in Ohio to Huber and Marian Florence. He grew up in Ohio, graduated from Wellington High School and attended what is now Kettering University. After enjoying a career in Mechanical Engineering for over 20 years in the Midwest, Chuck and his family moved to Littleton, Colorado. In 1986, he and his wife Suzanne built their dream mountain home and moved up to the community where they had vacationed for many years. Chuck always enjoyed life to the fullest, even with his limited physical abilities in his last 11 years. He loved his family, cherished his many friends and never lost his phenomenal sense of humor. Chuck is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Craig and Peggy Florence of Highlands Ranch, CO; his daughter, Julie Wheating of Toledo, OH; grandchildren Christopher Florence, Jenny Berry, Mike Berry and Jeff Florence all of Highlands Ranch, CO; Michael Wheating and Bryan Wheating of Toledo, OH; and great-granddaughters Maggie Wheating and Lexie Wheating of Toledo, OH. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Suanne; his sister Helen Bachman, and his parents Huber and Marian Florence. A memorial service celebrating Chuck's life will be held on Saturday, January 24, 2015, 2:00pm, Church of the Eternal Hills.
