Chandler James Metzler passed away at age of 19, on April 16, 2015. He was born in Littleton, CO on January 19, 1996. He is survived by his father, John Metzler; mother and step-father, Kristina Nau-Metzler and Reggie Hyatt; brothers, Chase Nau-Metzler, of Norfolk, VA and Gaige Metzler, of the home; sister, Arianna Nau, of the home; step-brothers, Dylan Hyatt and Keaton Hyatt, both of the home; and his grandparents, John H. and Marilynn Metzler, of Littleton, CO, Jim and Maryann Nau, of Spearville, KS, Lee and Selma Taylor, of West Plains, MO. He is also survived by many loving aunts and uncles, cousins and friends. He is preceded in death by his sister, Alyssa Nicole. Chandler worked as a vehicle service technician for Denver Health and also as a Gymnastic coach with Scale Gymnastics. Some of Chandlers many hobbies included skateboarding, snowboarding, hockey, baseball, playing Magic The Gathering, being a Chiver and loved spending time with his family and friends. From the moment Chandler was born, the world was brighter and better place. His smile would melt your heart and put a smile on your face at the same time. If you needed a hug, Chandler was the person to give it to you. No one could hug as good as him and they were limitless; and usually he'd be whispering in your ear ""I Love You!"" Chandler was an inspiration to so many and influenced many lives. He was an amazing son, brother, grandson, nephew and friend. No words can express how greatly he will be forever missed. Our world has gone dark now again with him gone. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, April 23, 2015 at 2 PM at Denver First Church located at 3800 East Hampden Avenue, Englewood, Colorado 80113.
