Chad Eugene Jensen

Chad Eugene Jensen, 43, of Aurora, passed away unexpectedly on August 1, 2016 in his home. Born on January 21, 1973 in Pocahontas, Iowa he is the son of Larry Jensen and the late Carolyn (Shimon) Jensen. Chad lived in Pocahontas, Iowa until the age of 14, when he moved to Colorado to live with his dad and step-mom, Karla. He graduated from Gateway High School in 1992. During high school, Chad developed a love for power lifting, and excelled at it with his dad, Larry. Chad worked as a Maintenance Engineer for Embassy Suites in Denver, as he was a ""Jack of all trades"". Chad married Kari Dunn and she gave birth to their beloved daughter, Bailey. He was a loving and devoted father, known as ""Daddy Chad"" to Bailey's brother, Conner. Chad and Kari later divorced. In addition to his father, Larry and step-mom Karla, Chad is survived by his daughter, Bailey Jensen; his son, Conner Jensen; his siblings: Randy Jensen and his wife Michelle, Rick Jensen, and Jensen Silver and his wife, Carol Ann; his nieces and nephews: Braden, Breanna, Jada, Jensen Jr., Dayne, and Elliot; and many additional relatives and longtime friends. He is predeceased by his mother, Carolyn Jensen, and his infant son, Brandon Eugene Jensen. A memorial service to honor Chad's life will be held on Tuesday, August 9, 2016 at 6:00 PM at Embassy Suites, 7525 E. Hampden Ave. Denver, CO 80231, followed by light refreshments and a visitation concluding at 8:00 PM. Memorial donations may be made to ""Bailey and Conner Memorial Fund"" 1524 S.
