Chad Dean Gilloth, age 54, passed away on April 12, 2026, at his mother’s home. He was born on December 21, 1971, in Fort Collins, Colorado.
Chad attended the University of Northern Colorado before beginning his career in technology during the height of the internet boom. A talented artist, he expressed his creativity through pencil drawings, graphic art, and the many websites he designed throughout his life. He was the go-to tech expert for his family and always willing to lend his knowledge and support.
Chad had a deep passion for science fiction, reading, metal detecting, arrowhead hunting, and cooking. He was also a devoted fan of the Colorado Avalanche. He took great pride in his Native American heritage, and his Christian faith was a central and guiding part of his life.
Chad is survived by his mother, Paula Hutchings (fiancé Jim); his father, Vaden Gilloth (Sandra); his daughter, McKenna Jackson (Cory); and his sons, Braden, Andrew, and Ethan Gilloth. He is also survived by his brothers, Lance Gilloth (Sara) and Vaden Ian Gilloth (Brittany). He was preceded in death by his sister, Hali Gilloth.
He will be dearly missed by his nieces and nephews: Paige, Charlie, Anela, Kiera, Niko, Aspen, and August.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 16, at 10:00 a.m. at Horan & McConaty, 11150 E. Dartmouth Avenue, Aurora, Colorado 80014. A family fellowship will follow at his mother’s home, located at 7500 East Dartmouth Avenue, #23, Denver, Colorado 80231.
