Catherine "Kay" Dunne

Catherine “Kay” Dunne passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on April 6, 2022. Kay was born and raised in Brooklyn, N.Y.  She was married to John “Jack” Dunne on May 3, 1958.

Jack and Kay were transferred several times living in Ringwood, N.J. and East Amherst, N.Y before relocating to Westminster, CO in 1985. Kay embraced everything about life in Colorado. She loved spending time in the Rocky Mountains and was a great patron of the arts in the Denver area. Kay was a loyal fan of the Colorado Rockies and even the Denver Broncos. Kay was blessed with a multitude of friends; and lived every day to the fullest.

She is predeceased by her beloved husband Jack in 2006 and her sister Mary in 2021.

She is survived by her children, Jane Dunne Burke, James Dunne (Wendy) and Jennifer Miller (Jeffery). Grandchildren Christina Lindblad (Eric), Cameron Dunne, Hayden Miller, and John (Jack) Burke. Great-granddaughter Ellie Lindblad. Her brother Vincent Clancy and numerous beloved nieces and nephews.

A Rosary will take place on Tuesday April 19, 2022, beginning at 11:30 AM, at Horan & McConaty, 9998 Grant St., Thornton, CO 80229. The Funeral Service will follow beginning at 12:00 PM. Committal service will be at Fort Logan National Cemetery at 2:00 PM.
