Catherine Marie Westlake

Catherine Marie Westlake, age 93, of Denver, Colorado, passed away peacefully in her sleep on February 18, 2026. She was born on October 6, 1932, in Shortsville, New York.

Catherine was a devoted Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband of 38 years, John (Jack) Westlake; her parents Patrick (Paddy) and Catherine (Kate) Tierney; and her brothers, Jim, Vince, John and Clarence.

Catherine is survived by her children: Michael (Cheryl), Anne, Joan (Drew) and Kevin (Lynn). Catherine was blessed to be the Grandmother of 8 and Great-Grandmother of 10.

Catherine was a devout Catholic. She enjoyed quilting, sewing, reading, and walking with friends. She and a few of her friends spent many hours making handmade blankets for the Linus Project.

Visitation and Rosary will be held on Monday, March 9th, 6:00pm at Horan & McConaty 3101 S. Wadsworth Blvd., Lakewood. The Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, March 10th, 10:30am at Light of the World Catholic Church 10316 W. Bowles Ave, Littleton. Graveside Service will be held at Fort Logan National Cemetery on Tuesday, March 10th at 2:00pm.
