Gerry Vigil was born on June 11th in Walsenburg, Colorado, to Joe and Cora Vigil. She was a cherished wife and mother, preceded in death by her parents and her siblings—Jenny, Sylvia, Neeter, and Joey, as well as her son-in-law, Rob.

Gerry is survived by her loving husband, Larry Sr., with whom she celebrated 51 beautiful years of marriage. She was a devoted mother to Carla, Joseph (Sylvia), Larry Jr. (Athena), and Celina (David). Gerry also leaves behind her sisters, Rosie (Fred) and Pauline (Mark).

Her family included 12 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren, along with numerous godchildren, nieces, and nephews who will all miss her greatly. Gerry had a special bond with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, often telling them, "I love you more."

Gerry loved spending time with her family, enjoying old movies, listening to classic tunes, and doing puzzles together. Known for her loving nature, Gerry was a quiet and shy person who touched the lives of those around her.

She will be remembered fondly by all who knew her.
