Catherine Varney

Catherine Angeline (a.k.a. Bonnie) Varney passed away on April 29, 2023.

She leaves her beloved husband of 64 years, Don, her son Mike, and her daughters Kelly Simmons and Joanna Nolte, and four grandchildren, by age, Michael Nolte, Joshua Simmons, Rachel Nolte, and Grace Simmons.

Steadfast in her faith and love of Chirst our Savior, she would often share her story about the transformational power of the Lord in her life with any listener. She was constant in her daily bible studies and long-term association of 60+ years with Berachah Church of Houston, Texas.

Bonnie and Don shared most of their lives together and greatly enjoyed exploring the US together in their trailer. She excelled in needle crafts such as knitting with friends, quilting, cooking - especially the fruits of Don's garden, watching HGTV & reading romance fiction, and being surrounded by the beautiful mountains of Colorado.

She will be greatly missed.
