Catherine Patricia Halterman

Catherine Patricia ""Grammy"" Halterman, 84, passed away August 11, 2008, at her home in Thornton, Colorado, surrounded by her loving family. Catherine was born August 29, 1923, in Des Moines, Iowa to Joseph Patrick and Marie Beatrice McManus Kearney. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Frank Halterman Jr.; by a daughter, Mary Guttroph; and by two sisters, Florence and Mary. Catherine is survived by her children, Judy (Dave) Sweeney, Janice Taylor, Tom (Lynda) Halterman, Mike Halterman, Teri Muncey, Bob (Christy) Halterman and Frank Halterman; 22 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; sister, Virginia ""GeGe"" Lydic; and a brother, Bill (Sandy) Kearney; and numerous nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held on Thursday, August 14, 2008, from 11:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m., followed by a Rosary, at Horan & McConaty, 9998 Grant Street, Thornton, Colorado. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, August 15th, 2008, 10:00 a.m., Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 7595 Federal Blvd., Westminster, Colorado. Burial will be at Olinger Evergreen Cemetery, 200 East 168th Avenue, Broomfield, CO.
