Casper Burgener Jr., 72, passed away tragically on July 2, 2026.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Patty; his sons, Sonny (Nikki) and Robby; his daughter, Bailey (Dyllon); and his cherished grandchildren, Chance, Cameron, Bo, Miranda, and Ron(Kassidy), and 2 Great-Grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister, Paula Long (Elmer); his brother, Bob Barton; and numerous nieces and nephews who will miss him dearly. He was preceded in death by his sister, Ann and his parents Casper Sr. and Josephine Burgener.
Casper dedicated 44 years of loyal service to Mile Hi Foods, where he built a career marked by dedication, integrity, and pride in a job well done. He was also an accomplished professional driver, earning the distinction of being a four-time Colorado State Truck Driving Champion through the Colorado Motor Carriers Association—an achievement that reflected his exceptional skill, professionalism, and commitment to safety.
Outside of work, Casper embraced life with enthusiasm. He loved cruising with Patty, attending classic car shows, and spending countless hours together on the back deck dreaming about future adventures. Those simple moments with the love of his life brought him his greatest happiness.
Casper was known for his warm smile, generous heart, and unmistakable collection of colorful Hawaiian shirts. In honor of his fun-loving personality, family and friends are invited to wear their favorite Hawaiian shirt as they celebrate his life and the joy he brought to others.
Casper's love, laughter will be remembered always. Though he will be deeply missed, the memories he created and the lives he touched will remain in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
