Born in Lockney, Texas, he spent many wonderful years in Tucson, Arizona, and Denver, Colorado.
Carter loved his family and his friends. He also loved golf, fishing, poker, bourbon whiskey, fried okra, cornbread, Colorado peaches and a good history book.
Survived by his wife of 68 years Minnie L. (Pinkie) Page, Son Keith (Sally), granddaughters Sara (Cameron), Emily and Micca and Son Brad (Kathe).
No service. Private family celebration in the Spring.
