Carloyn (Myers) Passarelli passed away peacefully on October 10, 2025, at the age of 95. Born June 6, 1930, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to the late Jared Myers and Dorthy Myers Brown. Carolyn spent her early years in Pittsburgh before moving with her family to Cincinnati Ohio. She graduated from Miami University in Oxford Ohio, with a degree in business.

She moved to Colorado in the 1950’s where she met and married Ross Passarelli, and together they built a family and life filled with laughter, resilience and adventure. In 1959, they settled in Arvada, Colorado where Carolyn would make her home for the next 67 years.

Carolyn enjoyed an active and fulfilling life. She was an avid traveler, exploring the world alongside Ross. Their travels included several bicycle tours in Europe including the one where she fell and broke her arm in Belgium. In her 50s she took up golf - a game she played for more than 3 decades, playing into her 80’s. She and Ross also shared a love of bridge, even traveling together to play in tournaments and making friends along the way.

Carolyn is known for her kindness, patience, and quiet strength, as well as her unfailingly positive outlook on life. She found joy each day in the people around her. She took great pride in seeing her children and grandchildren grow.

She is survived by her four children Elisa Passarelli, Janice Milinovich, Douglas Passarelli and Rosalie Hatfield; and her grandchildren Ian Passarelli and Tiffany Nunn.

Carolyn’s life was a testament to love, grace, optimism, and quiet perseverance. She will be remembered with affection and gratitude by all whose lives she brightened.

A Private service will be held at a later date.
