Carolyn Jeanne Griffin (CJ)

Carolyn Jeanne Griffin (CJ) went to be with our Lord on June 1, 2025 in Aurora, Colorado. She was born to G. Jean and Russell Mayer June 1950. She graduated from Jefferson High School in Edgewater, Colorado and studied music at Metropolitan State College. She is survived by, Richard Griffin, her high school sweetheart and husband of 56 years; daughter Heather Griffin; and brother Russell Mayer.

She was a homemaker and mother but took time out to work for Western Insurance, Sears and Roebuck, and H&R Block. She took pride in her creative sewing, crafts projects, and crocheting. She ran a business called Furever Bears where she sold her creations along with manufactured teddy bears.

CJ was an avid Elvis fan and Parrothead.

A memorial service will be held at Horan and McConaty at 11:00 AM on July 10, 2025. Located at 11150 East Dartmouth Avenue, Aurora, CO 80014.
