Carolyn Joanne Coffman

Carolyn Joanne Coffman August 6, 1935 ~ December 7, 2014 Born in San Francisco, California on August 6, 1935 Carolyn was the dedicated and loving wife to Jerry, for over 56 years. They were childhood sweethearts for 65 years. Jerry received the gift of life, a new heart, December 7, 1991, 23 years to the date of Carolyn's passing. Jerry preceded Carolyn in death 3 years ago. Carolyn leaves behind two loving children, Sandra (Don) Walraven, of Ballard, Washington and Ronald (Julie) Coffman, of Westminster, Colorado. Her four grandchildren, Aaron Kamaki John (Katie) Rapozo, Andrew Stephen (Lynley) Coffman, Karryn Marie (Todd) Mittge and Zackery Allan Coffman brought her much happiness. Additionally she was blessed with nine grandchildren, who she loved dearly. Lily Kilea Rapozo, Carter James and Nicolas Jerald Rapozo, Jack Mittge, Lyla Mittge, Emmett Mittge, Wyatt John Zaringer Coffman, Parker Berry (Coffman) and Charlie Rae Coffman. Carolyn passed away after a brief, but courageous fight with cancer. She had temporarily moved to Westminster, Colorado to be with her son and daughter-in-law, who provided her with compassionate and loving care while she underwent chemo therapy at Swedish Medical Center, Englewood, Colorado. Carolyn's kindness and friendship to others will be missed. She enjoyed being able to do for others and to help those that she could. Jerry and her family were her greatest joy.
