Carole Jean Schetter

With sadness, we announce that Carole Jean Schetter (Andresen), 90, of Highlands Ranch, Colorado, passed away peacefully on July 25th.

Carole was born in Stow, Ohio, daughter of Henry and Juanita Andresen on August 23, 1935. Carole graduated from Kent State University in 1957 with a B.A. Degree in Elementary Education. In 1960, Carole married her husband, Bill, in Berkeley, California, and they were married for 64 years.

During her career, Carole worked as a teacher in the Oakland, San Leandro, Bakersfield, Los Angeles and Springfield, Oregon school districts. Carole also worked in retail at Macy’s in Denver and Houston.

Carole was active member in the Mount Rosa Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution. She was also active in volunteer work associated with the Presbyterian Church and was a participant in several national and local genealogical societies.

Carole’s hobbies included skiing, gardening, knitting, cooking, Bible study, genealogy, travel, following NBA basketball and serving on various committees. 

Carole is survived by her son William Jr.; daughter Ann Bush (Daryle); and three grandchildren.

Services will be at Wellshire Presbyterian Church,
