Carol Mae Lyons

Carol, 82, of Arvada, Colorado passed January 24, 2015. Survived by her loving husband Chuck of 62 years; son, Mike (Michele); daughter, Linda (Dave); grandsons Brian & Brett Moore. Carol attended Columbine Elementary School, Smiley Middle School, & East High School. She loved writing and wrote Carol's Column in the Arvada newspaper. As a dedicated Republican, she worked for the Colorado State Senate as a Docket Clerk. Carol was an Election Judge & worked on various republican political campaigns. She lived in Denver, London, Arvada, Salt Lake City, UT, Casper, Wyoming, Arvada, Pleasant Hill, CA and Arvada, Colorado. She worked for various insurance companies. She loved her family, friends and cats. She enjoyed traveling, playing bridge, organizing parties and genealogy. Funeral Services honoring Carol will be Wednesday, January 28, 2015, 11:00 AM, at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 7577 West 80th Avenue, in Arvada, Colorado.
