Carol Lea Husner

Carol Lea Husner, 78, of Aurora, CO, passed away on February 4, 2024. She was born on November 16, 1945, in Denver, CO.

Carol is survived by her daughters, Doreen Husner and Wanda van Zonneveld. She was preceded in death by her father, William Glenski, her mother, Helen Glenski (Zurcher), and her husband, John Husner.

Anyone who may have had the pleasure in knowing Carol, knows she liked to have fun. She loved hosting family dinners, playing Bingo, going up to Blackhawk, watching cartoons (even to the dismay of her daughter Doreen 😊) and enjoyed visiting with friends.

A committal service to honor Carol will take place at Fort Logan National Cemetery on May 17th at 12:30pm.  An escorted procession will depart from Carol Husner's home at 11:30am. For the address, please contact her daughter, Doreen Husner.

Carol's daughters will be hosting a Celebration of Life back at her home in Aurora after the ceremony at Fort Logan. They would love for everyone to stop by, have some food and reminisce about their crazy momma and most importantly have some FUN in her honor!

Her daughters ask that everyone wear comfortable clothes to both the service and Celebration of Life.  If you have clothing with any of the following on them, please wear them, as Carol loved these subjects. Cartoon character Bluey, Minions, butterflies, bingo, or slot machines.

Love ya momma, can’t wait to celebrate your life with our friends and family.  

May she rest in peace and party with passed loved ones until we meet again.
