Carol Renee Evans

Carol Renee Evans, 79, died in her home under Hospice care in Arvada, Colorado on September 2, 2023. Carol was born in Vermillion, South Dakota on September 22, 1943, to T. Bessie (Stage) Scholl and Charlie Scholl. She was a graduate of Plainview Academy in Redfield, SD.

Carol married Maurice E. Beyer in April of 1962. Unto this marriage, two children were born, Brian in 1963 and Renae in 1964. Carol married Richard O. Evans in March of 1975. Unto this marriage one child was born, Jeff in 1976.

She was a daycare provider for many years and later added fostering children. Carol loved to knit as she designed many sweaters, afghans, Christmas stockings and poodle bathroom sets. Some of her designer sweaters were worn on the show, Dynasty, in the 80’s.

Carol had two brothers and five sisters; Charles L., Donna, Delores, Charline, Barb, Martha, and Charles E.

Carol is survived by her husband Richard of Arvada; Brian (Debra) Beyer of Arvada, Renae (Russ) Bunker of Oacoma SD, Jeff Evans of Illinois, Rose Evans of Arvada, and Hayley Filipponi-Evans of Arvada. Bonus children include Zorha Huck-Evans of CA and Dawn Filipponi of Denver.

Carol had several grandchildren, Ashley, Scott (Sarah), Chris (Rebecca), Steven all of Arvada; Brady (Lexi) of Reliance, SD; Lucas of Chamberlin, SD; Jasmine of CO; and Wesley, Finnegan, and Charlotte of Illinois. Great grandchildren Matthew, Landen, Jacob, Holly, Delilah, Megan, Roxanne, and Ivory. Carol was preceded in death by her parents, 1 brother, 4 sisters, and 1 great grand child, Lucas.
