Carol Bush

Carol Bush, age 65, of Denver, Colorado passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 30, 2026, after a long battle with Early Onset Alzheimer’s Disease.

Carol was born on November 25, 1960, at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Denver to Charles and Dorothy Bush. She attended Lincoln High School and received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics from the University of Colorado in Boulder.

Carol was proud to serve as the Chief Financial Officer for the Piton Foundation for 25 years. Outside of work, Carol enjoyed spending time with family and friends, singing with Harmony: a Colorado chorale, cuddling with all her cats, and traveling with her wife. Carol always had a warm smile and a helping hand for others.

Carol is survived by her beloved wife Lisa Sisneros; brothers Mike Bush and Keith Bush (Eileen); and nephews Kevin and Brad Bush. She was preceded in death by both parents and her brother Craig Bush.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 13 at 10:00 in the morning, at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church 2015 Glenarm Place, Denver, CO 80205. The service will also be available via livestream at www.standrewdenver.org

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to The Alzheimer’s Association via Lisa’s Ride2EndALZ page ( http://act.alz.org/goto/CarolsTribe ), Harmonychorale.org, or www.humanecolorado.org in Carol’s memory.
