Carol Ann Koehler 87, born August 8, 1936, in Somerville, New Jersey to Elizabeth Sipski and William Brogley. She passed away while living at Orchard Park Health Care in Centennial Colorado on March 22, 2024.
Carol Ann graduated from Somerville High school and went on to marry Nicholas Fratantuono Sr. and have two children, Nick Jr. and Diane. She enjoyed being a homemaker and learning to cook Italian dishes from her in laws. She was an excellent cook all her life!
In 1969 she married Raymond Koehler while working at Texize Chemicals as a secretary. In 1973, her 3rd child, Linda Anne Koehler, was born. In the 80’s she worked for Sterling Mortgage, Somerville New Jersey, until she retired and moved to Colorado in 1994, after Ray’s passing.
Carol enjoyed cooking and celebrating the holidays with her family and friends. The Grandchildren referred to them as Grammy’s feasts. Over the past 30 years in Colorado, she made new friends at Light of the World Senior Club and her final home Orchard Park Health Care. Her family is what gave her the will to live, without a doubt, it was the most important aspect of her life.
Preceded in death by her mother Elizabeth Sipski, father William Brogley, husband Raymond Koehler, son Nicholas Fratantuono Jr., and granddaughter Angela Fratantuono. Special mention to Veronica Sipski (Aunt Ronnie), who was a special Aunt to Carol.
Carol is survived by her brother Kenneth Brogley, daughter-in-law Nereida (Nick d.), her daughters Diane Lawson (Ted), Linda Stillwell (Michael). Her grandchildren, Cara (Devin), Valeria, Nicholas, Vanessa, Fernando, Danielle, Hayley (Michael), Kristine and Jacob (Macala), and her two great grandsons Jett and Xander.
