Bryce Singh Arshi

January 26, 1984 — December 21, 2023

Parker

Bryce Singh Arshi, age 39, died at his home in Parker, Colorado on December 21, 2023, from a sudden medical episode. He was born January 26, 1984, to Satpal Singh Arshi Sudwal and Karen Beth Arshi (Long) in North Hollywood, California. Growing up, Bryce enjoyed learning, swimming, reading comic books, acquiring household skills from his dad, and exploring with his friends and cousins. Bryce moved to Colorado with his mom shortly after graduating from high school.  Here he met the love of his life and best friend, Alison Monserud, with whom he shared every aspect of the rest of his life.  Bryce and Alison married on June 18, 2017, spending a total of 16 years supporting each other through the joys and challenges of life.  Bryce supported Alison through the rigors of nursing school. Later, she supported him through multiple surgeries, including the most exciting ones, his cochlear implants. Bryce was hard of hearing most of his life and became completely deaf January 2018. He embraced his cochlear implants and discovered the joy of hearing birds singing, children playing, and found a new love in music.

Bryce loved to work with his hands and worked various trade jobs, including plumbing and carpentry.  But his passion was in his personal interests, including painting, cooking with Alison, playing video games, movies, plants, camping, hiking, reading and being the best dog daddy to Puckett, Divya and Caffrey. Bryce was a Renaissance man who could pick up a skill quickly, and who excelled at trivia with his wide range of knowledge. Bryce was honest, opinionated, and quiet in social situations, but this may be due to him loving animals more than humans.

Bryce’s early passing will leave a hole in the hearts of many who loved and survive him. This includes his grandmother Alberta Shirley Long, father Satpal Singh Arshi Sudwal, father-in-law Scott Wendell Monserud, mother-in-law Cindy Marie Monserud (Schmitt), half-brother Manvir Singh Sudwal, half-sister Jennifer Kaur Sudwal, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and his wife, Alison Mae Monserud.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather Teja Singh Sudwal, grandmother Harbans Kaur Sudwal, grandfather James Daniel Long, mother Karen Beth Cameron (Long), and cousin Ryan Royce Long.

His life will be remembered and celebrated with services and a reception on Saturday, January 6, 2024, at 11 a.m. at Horan & McConaty Funeral Service and Cremation, 3101 S. Wadsworth Blvd, Lakewood, CO 80227. All are welcome to remember Bryce at this service.
