Bryan Clifford Sharpe

January 6, 1973 — August 28, 2025

Highlands Ranch

Bryan Clifford Sharpe was born on January 6, 1973, in Columbia, South Carolina. From a young age, Bryan was full of energy and adventure. He played baseball and football, won numerous trophies racing BMX bicycles, and loved riding his 4-wheeler ATV. As he grew older, he became an avid weightlifter, occasionally took to the skies skydiving, and developed a lifelong passion for automobiles. He especially cherished his yellow Corvette, which he enjoyed for 36 years. In adulthood, one of his greatest pleasures was riding his motorcycle. A skilled mechanic, Bryan truly could “fix anything” and generously used his talents to help anyone in need.

His career reflected his many skills and creativity. Bryan worked as an electrician, plumber, and fabricator, traveling across the United States to train companies on the industrial compressors he helped design and build.

Bryan’s love of travel began in childhood, living with his family in the Carolinas, Panama, Florida, Germany, and Louisiana. As a young adult, he returned to Europe with friends, especially treasuring time spent in London. After attending Western State College in Colorado, he settled in Highlands Ranch, Colorado, near his parents and beloved grandparents, Cliff and Charlotte Kronauer.

Bryan had a keen interest in history, especially military history, born out of profound respect for his father’s military career. He was also a man of great sensitivity—he cared deeply for animals, was moved by the beauty of the universe, and found joy in music of all kinds. His deep, resonant singing voice and remarkable memory for lyrics made music a special gift he shared with those closest to him. He was an avid recycler, and sentimental collector. Bryan delighted in telling a joke for every occasion.

Above all, Bryan will be remembered for his kind, caring, fun-loving spirit that endeared him to everyone fortunate enough to know him.

He is survived by his devoted parents, Howard and Donna Sharpe; his brother Dustin Sharpe and sister-in-law Angela; his sister Christine Shutt and brother-in-law Cody; and his cherished nieces, Charlotte and Lucy Shutt. He is also survived by beloved aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends and neighbors who will miss him deeply.
